Foreign Nationals
What is the definition of a Foreign National Client?

A client qualifies as a foreign national if they are present in the United States (U.S.) but do not currently have the right to permanently reside here. It is required that they were born outside the United States and cannot be a U.S. citizen; however, they can hold a temporary work visa. They should have U.S. interests such as financial assets, bank accounts and/or own property. They can pay U.S. income taxes and still be considered a foreign national. To qualify for U.S. based life insurance, the insurance process including solicitation, application, exam and policy delivery must take place in the United States.

If your client fits this definition, they may be eligible to purchase domestic U.S. based life insurance products on both a permanent and term basis.
